about

A collection of all the original tracks I published this year, listed chronologically. Each track shown here also comes with either a .pdf (piano sheets with or without backing instruments) or .MIDI version for other music nerds to enjoy. Usually these are as close to the original as possible; if there's anything that looks or sounds plain wrong about them, let me know and I'll see if it's possible to fix.

There's also a hidden bonus track not shown here... It's called You Weren't Meant to Know, and was originally written for something that seemed a good idea at the time. Here it serves as a short little outro - which is why I'm hesitant about publishing it anywhere else. We'll see...

Genres vary; this year's mostly been attempts at acoustic pop/rock, with some 8-bit bops thrown in. That said, they're pretty much equally represented here since I included some tracks I wrote for a cancelled game project which would only have 8-bit tracks.

Sincere thanks to the people who programmed the software used to create these tracks, particularly the creators of OpenMPT and FamiTracker, for making music creation more accessible for solo composers.

Linguist by day, musician also by day. I focus on instrumental tracks using a variety of virtual instruments, most often backed up by the good ol' piano, bass and drums combo.
